This instrument that is being played in this scene is a Kora, a west African 21 string harp-lute that produced a very beautiful calming sound. This is the start of a series of pastels that I am doing of the International Festival. This woman was part of a group preforming African dance and traditional music. The crowd loved them.

This piece was donated to our local Arts for All Gala and will be auctioned for the arts in our community.
